Welcome to the Suffolk and North Essex Junior Lawyers' Division.
Launched in January 2008 for junior lawyers across England and Wales, the JLD is a division of the Law Society with an independent voice. This free membership group is aimed at student members of the Law Society enrolled through the SRA, trainees, and solicitors with up to five years' active PQE.
As a local JLD group our role is to facilitate the interaction of trainees in the local area. By organising various events, both social and career oriented, our aim is to provide trainees with a network of friends and future business contacts.
Your local JLD is a valuable link for trainees from smaller firms to meet and get to know other trainees and often provides a useful point of reference for the dissemination of legal information and experiences.
