Shelter Quiz

This years annual quiz will be held on Thursday 13 May 2010 from 19:00. Send a list of people and maybe even a team name to SNEJLD to confirm attendance by the 5 May 2010. We welcome teams of no more than 6 people. Please support this event, and help the Committee raise as much money as possible for Shelter, the housing charity, in its bid to protect more families from the danger of homelessness.

Summer Party

This years summer party will be in association with The Law Clerks! Dubbed the 'Summer Cocktail Party' it will be at Belstead Brook Hotel on Friday 11 June 2010 at 19:30. It does NOT clash with any World Cup games! Tickets are on sale now for £17.50 which includes a buffet meal and disco. A-Level Careers Evening

A real Thank You to those who attended the talk. We hope that you got the best out of the information. The talk covered alot of ground on how to become a solicitor and the costs involved along the way. Careers Evening

Held: 11 March 2010 at Prettys

A real Thank You to Taylor Root for holding the Guide to Qualification evening. Very good tips were provided to trainees on how to handle the market during the tough times. Advice was provided on both national and international positions.

Bowling Night

Held: 24 February 2010 at Solar Bowl

A relaxing light evening of bowling!

Summer Ball

Held: 19 July 2008 at Orwell Park School

The event proved to be a great success; champagne reception accompanied by pianist, croquet lawn, delicious 3 course meal and dancing. The ball started from 7pm and ended at 1am in the lovely setting of Orwell Park, Nacton, Ipswich IP10 0ER.

Shelter Quiz

Held: 13 March 2008 at the Curve Bar, Ipswich

The evening kicked off at 7pm with free Pizza, followed by 8 quiz rounds covering topics such as TV & Film, Music, History and Food & Drink. Great fun was had by all and over 500 pounds was raised for Shelter.

Taylor Root Careers Evening

Held: 21 February 2008

The Taylor Root careers evening involves a presentation and question-and-answer session by legal recruitment specialists from Taylor Root. The evening provides trainees and newly qualified solicitors with a good opportunity to hear about current legal market conditions and local and national opportunities post-qualification, and also provides advice on interview techniques and how to go about building an impressive CV.

SNETSG Annual Ball
