Careers Evening

Sponsored by Taylor Root, the Committee are hosting a Guide to Qualification evening on Thursday 11 March 2010 from 18:00 onwards.

Following a drinks reception and buffet, there will be a presentation covering current market conditions, local and national opportunities, how to build a relevant CV and tips for success at interview. This will provide an invaluable opportunity for members to talk to legal consultants about the current market.

Shelter Quiz

This years annual quiz will be held on Thursday 29 April 2010 from 18:00. The date is subject to change but we will keep you updated. But please keep checking or visit our facebook page - you can add us as a friend. We welcome teams of between 2 and 8 people. Please support this event, and help the Committee raise as much money as possible for Shelter, the housing charity, in its bid to protect more families from the danger of homelessness.

Held: 24 February 2010 at Solar Bowl

A relaxing light evening of bowling!

Summer Ball

Held: 19 July 2008 at Orwell Park School

The event proved to be a great success; champagne reception accompanied by pianist, croquet lawn, delicious 3 course meal and dancing. The ball started from 7pm and ended at 1am in the lovely setting of Orwell Park, Nacton, Ipswich IP10 0ER.

Shelter Quiz

Held: 13 March 2008 at the Curve Bar, Ipswich

The evening kicked off at 7pm with free Pizza, followed by 8 quiz rounds covering topics such as TV & Film, Music, History and Food & Drink. Great fun was had by all and over 500 pounds was raised for Shelter.

Taylor Root Careers Evening

Held: 21 February 2008

The Taylor Root careers evening involves a presentation and question-and-answer session by legal recruitment specialists from Taylor Root. The evening provides trainees and newly qualified solicitors with a good opportunity to hear about current legal market conditions and local and national opportunities post-qualification, and also provides advice on interview techniques and how to go about building an impressive CV.

SNETSG Annual Ball
